So many want to claim the triumph that David had over Goliath but ignore the tenderness he displayed for the larger giant King Saul.

Our tenderness is most often tested when we are placed in the context of those that mistreat us. Will we still honor those that do us wrong in our pursuit of a heart that longs for God?
Daniel prospered under one of the darkest empires in human history. His excellence and loyalty shined through under the wicked king Nebuchadnezzar.
David and Daniel both are prime examples of what godliness looks like under corrupt leadership. If we want to reflect the greater kingdom we must learn the way of tenderness.
